Monday 1st June. Sun is shining. But the alignment still sits full of itself.
3 weeks Thursday - SHOWTIME.
Getting into business mode. I quite like it. What if it works? What if what works? What if people buy stuff? What, like, people with taste? For those Only with taste? Well, it becomes production line. Manageable production line, behind the scenes production line. Yes.
This is where we are.
What if it doesn't work? Does it all hinge on this gig? A bit of a punctured lung scenario. It'll be reet. Whichever way.
Anyway. I will produce an A4 show guide. Featuring all the work, all available to own. In your very own home. In time for the Opening/Celebration. There will be, on display, 4 sizes. The #lofiposter size (presented additionally as wallpaper, as well as the #lofi hang), Editioned A2s (ed.of 20), Open A3s & the Gorgeous art card series at A4.

Thank you for scanning the QR code as found at my latest show at Bolney Meadow Community Centre, in Vauxhall, South London.

This has been an amazing opportunity to present my work, for the first time, on such a large scale.

I have been drawn to photography from an early age and was first exposed to darkroom life at the age of 11 at my secondary school which was known as Bushfield Community School in the Ortons of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Photography, as an art pursuit, took a back seat when I entered into adulthood and my career. It reappeared back into my life, as I removed myself from salaried work in the hospitality industry, back in 2004.
My new found focus was people photography, establishing a walk in photography studio in Poplar, East London. From 2004 until 2015 I captured circa 200 weddings in and around the London area. Taking advantage of new age of digital photography. I also had a rostrum of 24 schools where I’d provide multiple posed shots of children and staff.

I moved into the art world from 2010, establishing an art space in Brixton called Studio 73, showcasing the work of local and global artists in a fine corner space of Brixton Village’s market.
Picture framing complimented the art offerings of Studio 73, so much so I opened a dedicated framing shop next to the art gallery.

I closed both businesses in Brixton Market in 2020. Not as a reflection of the pandemic but as a means of stretching my creative legs into new areas, notably in setting up Brixton Art Prize, a platform to reflect and celebrate the diversity of Brixton with an Art Prize, which, in it's first year, 2022, was held at The Department Store in Brixton. We had over 700 entires from artists from all around the world.

I also set up a new arts project that celebrates the art of photography by means of printing large scale posters that are attached to walls and surfaces across central London. A means to enjoy art work out and about as a consequence of closed galleries and public space resulted from the pandemic. The works you see on display at Bolney Meadow came from the #lofipostershow idea in terms of sizing.

Studio 73, continues to operate in a new space in a railway arch on Valentia Place, Brixton, where we hold seasonal art shows showcasing solo and group work. It is my view that Studio 73 will grow as a platform to celebrate creativity by introducing a programme of art shows, together with magazine style content to elevate artists and their practise.
As of Thursday 7th May 2026, there is only one product linked below, but I will populate this with work that you have seen at Bolney Meadow.
My A4 art cards are proving popular and cost £10 each.
May May be a Happy month, for us all.
If there is anything of note in the show at Bolney  - please take a photo of it, and share it with me, I can then offer you more assistance as to what it is! How it was done, and the availability to purchase one for your walls.
